Claims due for Bauserman Unemployment Agency False Fraud class action settlement - WWMT-TV

LANSING, Mich. — Claimants involved in a class action settlement stemming from Bauserman v. Unemployment Agency have until Wednesday to submit their completed registration form, according to the Attorney General's office Tuesday.

To be eligible for compensation, a claimant must meet the need of the settlement class, which defines eligibility as, "if he/she received an initial determination or re-determination of intentional misrepresentation issued by the agency between Oct. 1, 2013 and Aug. 31, 2015, issued initially through the Agency's auto-adjudication process, and suffered a first collection on or after March 9, 2015, and he/she does no opt-out from the settlement," officials said.

Eligible claimants may have received phone calls, texts, emails, letters, or social media messages from Analytics Consulting, LLC. regarding that they may be eligible for participation in the settlement, and the claims are not fraudulent or a scam, according to the Attorney General's office.
