Class Action Alleges Pa. Company Withheld 401K Payments | The ... - Law.com

Power Innovations was hit with a wage-and-hour class action on Aug. 18 in Pennsylvania Western District Court. The suit, filed by J.P. Ward & Associates, accuses the defendant of failing to deposit withheld wages into employees’ 401(k) accounts, then refusing to refund the full amount of withheld wages upon employees’ demands for repayment. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 2:23-cv-01493, Maxwell v. Power Innovations Inc. et al.
