CMS Portugal has promoted two lawyers from its labour law & pension funds practice to counsel: Catarina Gil Jorge and Mafalda Alves da Silva.
Both newly appointed counsels advise national and international clients across a broad range of sectors. Catarina Gil Jorge brings experience in the banking, aviation, and industrial sectors, with a particular focus on negotiating collective bargaining agreements. She is also a member of the firm’s team dedicated to gender equality, diversity, inclusion, and pay transparency.
Mafalda Alves da Silva specialises in workforce restructuring processes, with expertise in mass layoffs, job eliminations, and negotiation processes. She also advises senior management on the termination of employment contracts, with a client base spanning the pharmaceutical, financial, commercial, retail, and services sectors.
