Trump was inaccurate on a wide range of topics. They included inflation in the U.S., climate policies both at home and abroad, immigration, his role in resolving international conflicts, and his polling position. The newspaper has fact-checked some of his statements.
Trump and wars: The president claimed: “I ended seven wars, and in all cases, they were escalating, with tens of thousands of people killed innumerable times. That includes Cambodia and Thailand, Kosovo and Serbia, Congo and Rwanda – a brutal, violent war that was – Pakistan and India, Israel and Iran, Egypt and Ethiopia, and Armenia and Azerbaijan.”
