TEXAS (KAUZ) - The Office of Texas Comptroller Don Huffines has launched a whistleblower portal that gives every Texan the ability to report fraud, corruption, tax evasion, waste, and abuse involving state tax dollars.
The Office of the Comptroller said that the portal can be used to report crimes against those who cheat on the taxes they owe, government officials who misuse taxpayer money, or even businesses and nonprofits that break state tax law.
The Comptroller’s Law Enforcement Operations (LEO) whistleblower portal sends tips securely and directly to the agency’s investigators. Texans can submit detailed reports, upload supporting documentation, and remain anonymous if they choose.
