COSHOCTON — Coshocton City Council is adjusting pay rates for elected officials and non-bargaining employees starting in 2022.
Council recently passed several ordinances related to annual salaries for the next several years.
Wages for council members will be $8,735 for 2022 and $8,930 for 2023. Clerk of council will receive $6,385 for 2022 and $6,525 for 2023.
City treasurer will be paid $10,860 for 2022, $11,100 for 2023, $11,350 for 2024 and $11,600 for 2025.
Wages for the recreation department and seasonal workers were set for 2022 as well. First-year maintenance workers will get $12 an hour, second-year workers will receive $13 an hour and those with three years or more experience will be paid $14 an hour. Chiefs or crew chiefs are marked for $15 an hour and the lead crew chief will get $17 an hour.
Salaries were also set for the next three years for 30 non-bargaining positions including employees of the municipal court and law director's office, utilities supervisors, city hall custodian, fire chief, property code investigator, workers in the auditor's office and other city positions.
The safety service director will be paid $79,545.02 for 2022, $81,334.78 for 2023 and $83,164.82 for 2024. Income tax administrator will get $42,796.63 for 2022, $43,759.55 for 2023 and $44,744.12 for 2023.
