Count Binface has corrected Nadhim Zahawi after he claimed the Clacton by-election candidate had received a 180,000 donation from businessman Dale Vince.
Last Friday, on the morning the results were confirmed in Clacton, Tory-turned-Reform politician Zahawi had appeared on ITV’s Good Morning Britain to discuss the by-election.
During the programme, he claimed Count Binface had received “180,000 from Dale Vince, who is a big Labour supporter.”
“He got activists from the Conservative Party and from Labour going out to try and knock on doors for him,” Zahawi added.
Well, it turns out that Zahawi was wrong on both of these counts.

In a statement shared on Sunday morning, Count Binface wrote on social media that claims of a donation from Vince were “untrue.”
“Dale Vince has never donated to me, and at no point have I asked activists from any other party to knock on doors for me,” he continued.
“If anyone did so, it was not at my direction and was of their own volition.
He added: “I’m sure Mr Zahawi will want to correct the record at his earliest convenience.”
In the lead-up to the Clacton by-election, Vince had offered to help fund Count Binface’s campaign but the offer was never accepted by the Count.
On Monday morning, Good Morning Britain issued a clarification, stating that Zahawi’s claims were incorrect.
