It seems as if there’s been some stirring of the pot after Enes Kanter’s ejection from the Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky games.
Sitting courtside in a shirt reading “WOMAN noun. adult human female,” Enes Kanter drew attention long before his exit.
There were claims he spent the evening standing inches from the hardwood to shout back toward the floor, escalating tensions until Sky guard Natasha Cloud directly confronted him. And once security escorted him out, the public narrative immediately placed the blame squarely on Freedom.
Of course, there’s no doubting that Kanter was wearing that T-shirt courtside to try and get a reaction, but a courtside account from a fan in attendance seems to paint a slightly different picture.
A snippet from an ESPN article on the Royce White and Enes Kanter situation gave an account of a fan who was sitting courtside during the Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky game.
They state that a fan wearing a gold Caitlin Clark Fever shirt sitting near Kanter said he only cheered during the game, despite claims that he was jeering and baiting players.
Now, there are contrasting accounts, so it’s difficult to know exactly what the truth is.
After the game, Kanter admitted that he was approved to be there by the general manager of the Chicago Sky and didn’t want to cause any kind of controversy.
