1) Chicago's winter overnight parking ban begins Dec. 1. The regulation impacts 107 miles-worth of streets across the city, and will remain in effect until April 1, 2023. In an effort to prevent build-up of snow and ice, vehicles in banned areas between 3 a.m. to 7 a.m. will be towed. The parking ban will be enforced, regardless of whether there is snow on the ground.
