A former U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) lawyer hit out at the Donald Trump administration over immigration crackdown. Ryan Schwank, who previously helped train recruits at the ICE academy, testified during a forum led by Senator Richard Blumenthal and Rep. Robert Garcia, allege that the training system of immigration agents is “deficient, defective and broken”. He also claimed that critical coursework and testing requirements for ICE agents were cut, leaving recruits unprepared before being deployed into the field.
