The drip, drip, drip of new information regarding the Russian collusion hoax that undermined President Donald Trump’s first term in office continues on with a bombshell new claim about one of the chief propagators of the “Russia, Russia, Russia” narrative, Adam Schiff.
Just the News obtained documents recently handed over to Congress by FBI Director Kash Patel that detail allegations from a Democratic whistleblower about how then-Congressman Schiff (D-CA) approved leaking classified information to the press in order to discredit Trump.
The whistleblower is described by Just the News‘ John Solomon and Jerry Dunleavy as “a career intelligence officer who worked for Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee for more than a decade” and repeatedly warned the FBI about Schiff’s behavior beginning in 2017.
The FBI 302 interview reports obtained by the outlet state the intelligence staffer — a Democrat by party affiliation — considered the classified leaking to be “unethical,” “illegal,” and “treasonous.” When he voiced those concerns to Schiff and others, he was apparently told not to worry about it because they did not believe he could be punished under the Constitution’s speech and debate clause.
Just the News reported the whistleblower was interviewed by the FBI twice in 2017 and at least four times over six years (most recently in 2023) about the alleged Schiff leaks, but Justice Department prosecutors declined to move forward, according to the memos.
