Destiny Etiko, a well-known Nollywood actress and producer, has taken to social media to refute recent claims made in some news outlets that she is a virgin. The claims were made after a supposed interview where she allegedly revealed her virginity at the age of 33.
The false information quickly spread through various social media platforms, causing a frenzy among fans of the actress. However, in a video shared on her Instagram page on Monday, Destiny expressed her dismay over the claims and stated that she never gave any such interview.
She said, “Since yesterday, I have not rested with the news calling me out as a virgin. I didn’t grant any interview revealing that I’m a virgin. I can’t remember granting any interview saying I’m a virgin. They didn’t give me any better title, like “Soon to be a Billionaire.”
Destiny also expressed her disappointment that the media could not find a better title to associate with her name rather than her virginity status. She added, “There was no interview about virginity, and they are all busy with my precious name, which really shows how relevant I am.”
