By India Today Web Desk: Senior Congress leader from Karnataka Siddaramaiah launched a scathing attack on the BJP for making claims that he formed the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) to protect himself from corruption allegations.
Taking to his Twitter account, Siddarahmaiah said, "The allegation against me that I have weakened the Lokayukta by setting up the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) is baseless. ACB is present in 16 states of the country including states in power...not only in Karnataka."

The veteran Congress leader further said the Advocate General had argued in defense of the formation of ACB in the Karnataka High Court but the BJP-ruled state government made false claims that the ACB was formed by him to protect himself from corruption allegations.
"It is a two-pronged policy," tweeted Siddaramaiah.
