Cincinnati’s largest law firm is building on its recent expansion in Florida through a merger with a Tampa-based group.
Dinsmore & Shohl, headquartered at 255 E. Fifth St. downtown, is joining with Shankman Leone, a boutique law firm that specializes in employment matters such as collective bargaining and management-side labor negotiations. The deal adds 10 attorneys with expertise in labor and employment, franchise and distribution, construction and commercial litigation.
Dinsmore’s expansion into the Sunshine State began with the opening of a Tampa office in February 2020. That was followed by a merger in August 2023 with Orlando firm Mateer & Harbert, which brought Dinsmore’s national office count to 30.
Shortly after, the firm added a Miami office in November 2023.
