The Law Society Diploma Centre’s autumn programme of courses includes the return of the Diploma in Criminal Law in Practice after a two-year hiatus.
The programme, which runs from September onwards, offers a range of in-depth certificate and diploma programmes, as well as the LLM Advanced Legal Practice and the Professional Doctorate in Law.
Diploma Centre courses are open to solicitors, trainees, barristers, and suitably qualified professionals.
All lectures are available to view on demand, offering maximum flexibility and supporting professionals to meet their CPD requirements.
Employment law
Among the courses available is the Diploma in Employment Law, starting on 19 September.
This course provides a comprehensive and practical understanding of employment law, covering every stage of the employment relationship from recruitment through to termination.
Throughout the course, participants will engage with recent developments in legislation, case law, and regulatory practice, gaining the tools to anticipate and respond to change with confidence in their professional roles.
Family law
The Diploma in Family Law begins on 23 September.
The objective of this diploma is to provide practitioners with an essential overview of the many recent developments in family law and the implications for day-to-day client advice, practice, and procedure.
