DLA Piper announced the addition of Josh Elefant as a partner in its Corporate group, strengthening the firm’s labor and employment capabilities for high-growth technology and life sciences companies.
Elefant advises clients across a wide range of employment matters, including hiring, separations, workplace policies, internal investigations, whistleblower complaints, and wage and hour compliance. His practice is closely integrated with corporate transactions, where he supports clients on pre-acquisition due diligence, negotiation of transaction agreements, and the structuring of employment-related documents such as non-competes and retention agreements.
In addition to advisory work, Elefant has experience representing clients in both individual and class action matters and has handled all phases of litigation, including depositions, motion practice, trial, and arbitration.
His addition enhances DLA Piper’s ability to provide integrated legal services at the intersection of employment law and corporate transactions, particularly for companies navigating growth, restructuring, and investment events.
