DLA Piper is not only matching the $235,000 Milbank salary scale for 2027 but promising extra 50%-of-the-market bonuses to all associates who log at least 100 hours above the law firm’s 2,000-hour billing minimum.
On top of that, DLA Piper also announced that associates with strong performance reviews will receive a second special bonus.

As an example, an associate who joined DLA Piper in 2023 will receive a base salary of $320,000 next year. If they hit their extra hours, they are eligible for a $57,500 year-end bonus. And if they turn in a strong performance, they could see an extra $15,000 bonus.
Above the Law reports that associates who are eligible for these bonuses will receive them between the end of December and February.
