A doctor must face a negligence lawsuit for the death of a patient who allegedly suffered from an infection following an abscess removal procedure after a Texas court of appeals ruled the expert report was valid.
Aveen B. Zachariah, who treated Doris A. Liesenfelt, argued the lawsuit couldn’t go forward because the expert report failed on various accounts, including that it didn’t connect his actions to Liesenfelt’s injuries.
