UPDATE: The Department of Justice Tuesday shared via social media hours after the document release that a letter included in their release, purportedly written by Jeffrey Epstein and mailed to Larry Nassar shortly before Epstein’s death, was not actually written by Epstein. They said that the FBI had examined the letter, citing handwriting, a discrepancy in return address, and the postmark location and date as evidence that the letter was illegitimate.
