Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s association with a second convicted sex offender, the Canadian tycoon Peter Nygard, is under increased scrutiny after the release of more documents from the Epstein files.

The FBI sought to interview Andrew as part of an investigation into Nygard in 2020. Andrew, who has denied any wrongdoing, has been contacted for comment.

The fashion mogul Nygard, 84, was sentenced to 11 years in prison by a Toronto court last year for sexually assaulting four women between the late 1980s and 2005. Nygard has also been accused of raping girls as young as 14. He has denied all allegations of child sex abuse.

Jes Staley, the former CEO of Barclays, and Larry Summers, the former US Treasury secretary, were once executors of Epstein’s estate, according to newly released — and since removed — files.

Staley was initially mentioned in a 2012 version of Epstein’s will as a “successor executor,” and was made a full executor in later versions.

Summers is named as a successor executor in a 2014 will. A spokesperson told the Financial Times he had no knowledge of the arrangement.

The two men were not in the final, 2019 version of the will. Summers has said he is “deeply ashamed” of his association with Epstein, while Staley said he “deeply regrets” their friendship. Both men deny...
