A Dominion Voting Systems court court filing on Wednesday argues that Fox Corp. chief legal and policy officer Viet Dinh should have prevented Fox News from airing false claims that Dominion’s voting machines were rigged.

The filing, a reply brief to Fox’s motion for summary judgment, accuses Dinh of shirking his legal obligations while hiding behind attorney-client privilege. It’s the latest effort by Denver-based Dominion to cast Dinh, a Harvard-educated lawyer and Kirkland & Ellis alum who’s held the legal reins since 2018, as a central figure in the network’s trashing of Dominion in the wake of Donald Trump’s defeat in the 2020 presidential election.
