Donald Trump has been accused of making at least 20 false statements in a much-anticipated interview with Elon Musk on Monday, where he touched on everything from immigration to his new political rival, Kamala Harris.
The broadcast, which was streamed on Musk's social media platform X, overwhelmed the site, causing it to crash as viewers clamored to access the link. This event also marked Trump's controversial return to platform X after he was banned for nearly two years due to the January 6th riots at the Capitol.
Following initial technical difficulties attributed to a "DDOS attack" Trump and Musk delved into discussions about crime, the economy, and climate change. During the two-hour dialogue, Trump made at least 20 inaccurate claims, with one of the most egregious being that Joe Biden's administration has allowed "millions" of illegal immigrants to enter the country "in a month", reports the Express US.
