What’s Happening at DSV?
Just months after joining forces with Schenker, DSV’s CEO indicated that the logistics giant is planning to eliminate 6-8% of staff, or approximately 13,000 jobs.
Jens Lund reportedly made the claim during the Danish Chamber of Commerce’s annual meeting.
In April, DSV completed its acquisition of Schenker from Deutsche Bahn for more than CAD $23 billion.
Impact on Canadian Staff
It remains unclear if any employees in Canada have been let go following the DSV-Schenker merger.
According to LinkedIn, the companies currently have a combined Canadian workforce of more than 2,000 people.
