Ecija has brought in Eduardo Gómez de Enterría as a new partner in its Madrid office, reinforcing the firm’s labour and employment law department. The lawyer, who has more than 25 years of experience, joins from RSM after building his career at firms including Sagardoy, Herbert Smith Freehills and Dentons.
Throughout his career, Gómez de Enterría has advised national and international companies on labour matters, with particular focus on collective bargaining and dispute processes, corporate restructurings, workforce reorganisations and complex employment situations.
Alongside his legal practice, Gómez de Enterría teaches collective bargaining and corporate restructuring at IE and holds an honorary professorship at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid’s Master’s programme for access to the legal profession. He currently also teaches labour law at Universidad Villanueva’s equivalent master’s programme and participates regularly as a lecturer at institutions including APD, IESE and the Ministry of Economy and Finance. He is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA), the International Labour Association (ILA), FORELAB and ASNALA, a regular contributor to the American Bar Association, and an accredited mediator by the Ministry of Justice.
