Eddie Hearn confirms Dana White’s Joshua-Fury production claim is also false as meeting booked with money-men - Bloody Elbow

Eddie Hearn says that he has it in writing that the UFC will not be producing Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua in December.

This is despite Dana White’s latest claim that he is still promoting the event and now also producing the broadcast for Netflix. The pair have been going back-and-forth for what seems like forever over the UFC supremo’s involvement in the event – which seems to be contractually nonexistent.

Hearn yesterday released a video mocking White for his many false claims about the fight – ranging from knowing where the venue is to promoting it outright. However, the press release announcing the event last week did say that White is involved alongside Turki Alalshikh.

During a media scrum this week, Dana White claimed that his recent antics have been anything but a ‘PR disaster’. He also insisted that not only would he be the name promoter for Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua, but that ‘UFC’ were producing the event.

Eddie Hearn was asked about the comments tonight at his event in Birmingham, telling the media: “To be honest with you, at this point he’s completely cooked. What he actually said was ‘we are doing the TV production which in the contract is prohibited.
