EDITORIAL: State law falls short on wages; companies step up - Oil City Derrick

When the wheels of government turn slowly, or not at all, the private sector must take the driver’s seat.

That’s certainly the case with Pennsylvania’s pitifully low minimum wage — still locked at the federal minimum of $7.25 an hour.
