ELLENSBURG- Nathan McCain from Ellensburg is facing charges after allegedly faking a fall at a supermarket in order to claim insurance damages.
Police are seeking McCain after a Kittitas County Judge approved a summons accusing McCain of first degree theft and making false claims following apparently false allegations he fell in the super 1 foods store. Store security cameras recorded McCain apparently spraying a liquid in the aisle of the store, before slipping in the same aisle shortly after. He then claimed he lost income and work due to his injuries, claiming $1,500 in damages.

McCain did not show up for his arraignment hearing on April 3rd leading to the judge issuing an arrest warrant.
