CLEVELAND, Ohio - Emily Moreno Miller is opposing a motion by her estranged husband, U.S. Rep. Max Miller of Rocky River, to get solo parenting time with their 10-month old daughter, in legal papers that claim her husband made numerous false claims in his legal filings earlier this month.
“Plaintiff’s attempt to denigrate his wife with numerous untruths in a public filing is shameful,” said a legal brief filed Thursday in the divorce case by attorney Jill Friedman Helfman. “Unlike Plaintiff, Ms. Miller is choosing not to make false allegations about her spouse and then list those allegations in a public document.” The brief didn’t specify which of Miller’s claims it disputes, but said untruths “will be addressed more specifically at a hearing on this matter.”
