Employment Law Attorney – Margaret Kurlinski, Godfrey & Kahn - Wisconsin Law Journal

Margaret Kurlinski is a shareholder and chair of the Labor, Employment & Immigration practice at Godfrey & Kahn, where her practice focuses heavily on M&A work in relation to employment matters. Her approach is a blend of external perspective from community and professional association involvement with a people-focused approach.

Kurlinski counsels clients on matters pertaining to employee selection and retention, employment agreements, unlawful harassment investigations, drafting and enforcing restrictive covenant agreements and international employment issues.

A mentor in the community, including her role as the incoming Board Chair for Meta House, Kurlinski takes an active role in mentoring junior attorneys within the firm.

“Mentoring has influenced nearly every aspect of how I practice law,” Kurlinski said. “Early in my career, I was fortunate to work with another employment attorney at G&K who modeled what it meant to be a working mother, technically excellent, practical, and deeply human in her approach.
