Kennedys has recently welcomed back Emily Duncan for the second time as lead counsel for employment law in its corporate and commercial team in Hong Kong.
Prior to rejoining Kennedys, she served as regional employee relations lead at Macquarie Group in Asia.
Richard Bates, Kennedys’ Hong Kong managing partner, said in a press release: “We are thrilled to welcome Emily back; she brings a wealth of employment knowledge and a valuable perspective on complex employment matters.”
Admitted to practise in Hong Kong, England and Wales, and New South Wales, Australia, Duncan has extensive experience in dispute resolution, with a particular focus on employment disputes.
She first joined Kennedys in 2003 as an employment lawyer. She later practised at Fox & Partners, a boutique employment law firm in London, and at Gall in Hong Kong, where she was promoted to partner in 2010 and led the development of the firm’s employment law practice.
Duncan rejoined Kennedys for the first time in 2015 as lead counsel for employment law in Hong Kong. In February 2023, she moved to Macquarie Group.
