DISPUTE RESOLUTION
We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced solicitor to join our established Dispute Resolution team focusing on Employment Law.
The successful candidate will deliver all aspects of employment law work including:
• Advising clients by phone, in meetings, and by way of written correspondence on a variety of contentious and non-contentious matters, including TUPE; negotiated exits; performance and disciplinary processes; discrimination and redundancy.
• Offering employment advice and support to other teams including corporate, commercial property, land and rural business and charities.
• Undertaking relevant business development activities including writing articles and speaking events.
• Training, supervision and development of junior members of the team.
• Scoping and feeing of all employment law instructions and meeting of relevant KPIs.
Skills/experience
The successful applicant will:
• Be a reliable, motivated, personable and organised individual with the ability to produce work to a high standard, largely unsupervised;
• Have strong communication skills, be commercially minded and have a strong client focussed approach;
• Have the ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships both with internal and external parties.
Both full time and part time applicants will be considered for this role. Candidates with 5+ years PQE experience are therefore preferred, but other candidates would be considered.
