“The Democrats’ recent and ongoing support of burning cities, free shop-lifting, police defunding, cashless bail, early release of murderers, open borders, a flood of drugs and the crime they support show that the Founders clearly knew of what they spoke: Democrats, whether with a small or a large “D,” are often the supporters and even the fomenters of mob conditions which lead on to central control-and-command despotic governments.”
That statement is not only defamatory and completely untrue, but also very dangerous. This is the type of rhetoric that many Republicans are distancing themselves from now, as shown in the recent election. I ask that you publicly do the same by disassociating yourself in print from that slanderous comment as the Sun-Gazette, and honor the Society of Professional Journalists’ code of ethics. “Ethical journalism strives to ensure the free exchange of information that is accurate, fair and thorough.”
