Eviction fears of Malvern disabled woman over 'false claims' | Malvern Gazette - Malvern Gazette

A DISABLED woman fears she will be driven to suicide by 'false' allegations she is a 'neighbour from hell', made out of spite to get her evicted.

Tracy Ratcliffe has lived at Beauchamp Road, Malvern for the last 26 years without any issues - and it is the only home her two sons have ever known.

However, a deluge of complaints to her landlord over the last three years has left her fearing she will end up being made homeless.

Claims she smokes cannabis (including reports to police), throws dog excrement over her fence, plays loud music, is a noise nuisance because of her barking dogs and has damaged a hedge are, she says, simply not true.

The 53-year-old, who is 'riddled with arthritis', believes the claims have been made to get her evicted by her landlord, Platform Housing Group.

She pays her rent to Platform out of her Universal Credit and believes the complaints may have been made because she is a 'council tenant'.

We have approached the people she believes are making the complaints in the interests of fairness but they have yet to respond.

Platform wrote to her last month about her 'cannabis use', warning her about 'anti-social behaviour and criminal damage' at the address.

"Any further complaints regarding the behaviour of you or your family members may lead to legal action being taken against your tenancy" warned a letter to her from Platform's Neighbourhood Officer.
