Two executives of an operator of assisted living facilities have been hit with a suit claiming they conducted a racketeering enterprise to conceal $500 million in Medicare fraud, sexual exploitation and human trafficking.
Daniel E. Straus, the chairman and CEO of Care One LLC, and Emily Vazquez, an executive vice president of the company and Straus' girlfriend, were hit with a suit in the District of New Jersey by three former employees, including Straus' daughter, Elizabeth.
