Convergys Corp. and a part-time former employee who said she was wrongly fired for missing work while hospitalized for a kidney stone settled and agreed to dismiss her medical leave interference lawsuit, Utah federal court records show.

The U.S. District Court for the District of Utah entered an order of dismissal Dec. 10 in Hope Zisumbo’s case. The court’s order was in response to a request for dismissal filed by Zisumbo and the company earlier Dec. 10.

The parties on Nov. 29 had asked the court to cancel a scheduled jury trial in the Family and Medical Leave Act case. ...
