An ex-DOGE employee is being investigated by US' Social Security watchdog after a whistleblower accused him of planning to share millions of citizens' sensitive data with his new employer. He allegedly claimed he had "god-level" access to social security systems and would use it at his new job. The whistleblower added he said he would receive presidential pardon if caught.

Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has said that it has barred consumers with piped natural gas (PNG) connections from obtaining or refilling domestic LPG cylinders, PTI reported, citing an order. "Such persons will be required to immediately surrender...domestic LPG connection," it said. This comes amid concerns around LPG availability as supply is disrupted due to US-Israel war with Iran.

The External Affairs Ministry has released a statement condemning Pakistan's recent strikes on Afghanistan that have led to the death of several civilians and destruction of civilian infrastructure. "This is yet another act of aggression by a Pakistani establishment that remains hostile to the idea of a sovereign Afghanistan," the ministry stated.

After India-bound LPG tanker Shivalik crossed the Strait of Hormuz, another India-bound tanker Nanda Devi has also crossed the strait, the government confirmed. Both the vessels are expected to arrive at Mundra and Kandla ports on March 16 and 17, the government added. The vessels contain around 92,700 metric tonnes of LPG.
