Late last month, Make Them Suffer parted ways with keyboardist Booka Nile offering a brief statement on her exit and offering, "Unfortunately we are unable to comment any further on the matter." This news came shortly after sexual assault allegations were levied against the musician in social media posts. She then claimed in various social posts that additional context to tweets being used against her had not been made public that would alter how the comments were viewed. Now Nile has made good on her plans to publicly comment on the matter, issuing a statement via her private Instagram account.
In the initial claims against the musician, the author offered up previous tweets from the musician that signified she had forced a partner into sex against his will, something that she "categorically denies" in her new statement.
Per Lambgoat, Nile's statement reads as follows:
I categorically deny the allegations made against me. I understand that without a statement from the alleged victim this whole incident is hearsay, which is exactly what it is. He does not want any part in this mess due to being vilified publicly by the same person I am now being vilified by too.
