The redeployment, approved by the company’s Managing Director, Mr. Akinsanya Doherty, reportedly took effect on April 15, 2026.
Officially, the management said Ige’s reassignment to the position of “Special Assistant to the Group Managing Director” was intended to expose her to “Business Management, Strategy and Organizational Leadership.”
