Considering that the users have cited their source of information to be Anandabazar Patrika — an Indian Bengali-language daily newspaper, we checked the official website of the media network to verify the claims. We could not find any news related to the Indian fans breaking their TVs and mobiles after the loss.
Checking the authenticity of the viral image, we found a tweet from June 18, 2017, published on the official account of Bombay Times.
