Amidst this, a picture of a meeting between the Bihar Chief Minister and Janata Dal (United) chief Nitish Kumar and former Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad Yadav is going viral. The photo is being shared, linking it to the 2025 Bihar Legislative Assembly elections, with claims that Nitish visited Lalu.
Vishvas News, in its investigation, found that the viral claim is fake. This picture dates back to April 2023 and is now being shared with a misleading claim, linking it to the 2025 Bihar Legislative Assembly elections.
What is in the viral post?
Facebook user ‘Bajrang Tripathi‘ shared the viral post on October 14, with the caption, “Today, Honourable Chief Minister Nitish Kumar met Lalu Yadav, it is possible that there might be a possibility of him switching sides again.”
