President Donald Trump made numerous false claims in his rambling Wednesday speech at the Republican midterm convention.
Trump repeated long-debunked lies about elections and immigration. He delivered a whopper on the critical subject of inflation, wrongly saying "almost every item" is getting cheaper even as prices continue to rise. He falsely claimed to have kept "every single promise" he made on the campaign trail. And he delivered a smattering of baseless attacks on Democratic candidates, though also some factual ones.
