A viral video shows uniformed men marching and chanting Islamic slogans. Social media posts claim these are Kerala Police cadets replacing “Jai Hind” with Islamic slogans. One such post on X (formerly Twitter) stated in Hindi:“The situation in Kerala is extremely worrying. Kerala Police Cadet, instead of Jai Hind, they are saying Jai Hadisam. The police are raising Islamic slogans.”

1. Reverse Image Search Traces Video to Instagram
A reverse image search of video keyframes led to an Instagram reel posted by the account @arangadi_official_page.
2. Similar Videos Found on Facebook
Another video shared on Pachapada Arangadi’s Facebook page on September 6 also mentioned Nabi Dinam (Mawlid). Both posts confirm the clip is linked to a religious celebration, not police activity.The same video was captioned as part of Milad (Nabi Dinam) celebrations.
3. Clarification from Kerala Police
Kerala Police’s Media Centre deputy director, S.R. Praveen clarified to Newschecker that the men were not wearing police uniforms. Instead, they belonged to a local Islamic organisation.
