WASHINGTON (AP) — Election Day was barely underway before unverified rumors of voting irregularities surfaced online.
One actual ballot-scanning malfunction, in Westchester County, New York, in particular gave rise to baseless theories about activities by Democrats or their allies to suppress Republican votes.
