The claim about her supposed pregnancy resurfaced (archived) about a year after Kirk's killing, with many people online noting that the baby should have been born by then.
Some social media users speculated it was an example of the "Mandela Effect" — a phenomenon that occurs when people collectively misremember reality.
"Wait wasn't erika kirk supposed to be pregnant or is that some kind of mandela effect?" one TikTok user asked in July 2026. The post (archived), which received more than 4.2 million views as of this writing, was captioned: "It's been well over 9 months."

While Erika Kirk has repeatedly talked about the two children she had with Charlie Kirk, there's no evidence that she announced she was pregnant again after her husband was assassinated.
