This was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation.

According to their data, Kremlin-controlled media outlets are spreading false claims that the train station was damaged by Ukrainian air defense systems. They are also promoting narratives alleging a deliberate provocation by Ukraine.

The Center for Public Diplomacy (CPD) considers this shift in messaging to be a sign of a coordinated information campaign aimed at shifting responsibility for the attack onto Ukraine and justifying the strike against civilians.

As a reminder, 14 people were killed and at least 13 others were injured as a result of the Russian attack on a transportation infrastructure facility in Dnipro. The injured are receiving necessary medical care, and emergency services are working at the site of the strike.
