Canada’s tax agency has officially revoked the charitable registration of an Ontario church following a year-long suspension for submitting doctored bank statements to the federal government.
The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) revoked the status of Grace Message Tabernacle Inc. on May 9 for making false statements to maintain its registration, failing to devote itself to charitable activities, having an “ineligible individual” as a director and failing to keep adequate books and records.
