Fennemore to combine with Boise law firm McConnell Wagner Sykes + Stacey - Idaho Business Review

National Am Law 200 firm Fennemore will combine with Boise-based McConnell Wagner Sykes + Stacey effective Sept. 1, adding 13 legal professionals to Fennemore’s Idaho presence and giving the Boise firm’s clients access to more than 750 team members across Fennemore’s broader network.

McConnell Wagner Sykes + Stacey, known as MWSS+, is a business law firm practicing in construction, real estate, employment law and commercial litigation. MWSS+ partner Chad Nicholson will become Fennemore’s Boise office managing partner upon the combination taking effect.

“Idaho is an important market for our clients, and we’ve been deliberate about expanding our capabilities to meet that demand,” said James Goodnow, CEO of Fennemore. “Together, we’ll bring broader legal services, advanced technology and deeper local relationships to help clients solve today’s challenges and seize tomorrow’s opportunities.”

For current clients of MWSS+, nothing will change except for access to expanded resources through the combined firms.

“Our clients will continue working with the attorneys they know and trust, while gaining the resources, reach and collaborative strength of an Am Law 200 firm built to support their long-term success,” Nicholson said.

Fennemore, which has been operating for more than 140 years, did not disclose financial terms of the combination.
