The former CEO of a Michigan bra company, who alleged that he was fired in retaliation for preparing to notify the IRS about tax evasion committed by the company’s owners, has agreed with the company to settle the lawsuit.
Angel Ilagan, former chief executive officer of Shefit Operating Co. LLC, and co-owners Robert and Sara Moylan notified the US District Court of the Western District of Michigan on Monday that the parties reached a settlement in the retaliation dispute, following a mediation held on Sept. 18. The parties said that final paperwork will be filed within 30 days.
