Kaylani Bronson is suing Sunflower Care Homes LLC. She filed the lawsuit in the U.S. District Court of Kansas, which is located in Topeka.
Bronson has been a certified CNA since 2014 and a certified medication aide since 2016, according to the lawsuit. She was hired by Sunflower to work as a CNA and a certified medication aide in January 2024.
The legal team representing Bronson — Chloe Davis and Bruce Brumley — didn't specify a specific dollar amount in damages in the lawsuit. However, they did ask the court to instruct Sunflower to stop violating the law.
