The Managing Director of PWAN Plus Business Concerns Ltd, Prof. Julius Oyedemi has refuted allegations made by social media influencer, Scott Iguma, over the ownership and allocation of land in Cedarwood Park and Cedarwood Gardens estates.
Speaking at a press conference in Lagos, Oyedemi described Iguma’s viral video posted on June 17, 2025, as “reckless, malicious, and injurious,” stating that the influencer’s claims were based on misinformation and lacked any factual basis.
In the video, Iguma allegedly accused PWAN of defrauding customers in the Cedarwood Estate in Ibeju-Lekki by issuing receipts without allocating land.
He cited a case involving a man who allegedly bought land from PWAN in 2014, died in 2019 without allocation, and whose family has since been denied both access to the land and a refund.
In a voice recording played by Iguma, the deceased’s family member claimed PWAN acknowledged the transaction in 2022 but failed to follow up despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue.
The family, according to Iguma, further alleged that they were denied entry into PWAN’s office on subsequent visits.
Responding, Oyedemi dismissed the accusations, stating that Cedarwood Park and Cedarwood Gardens — comprising 200 and 300 plots respectively — were duly acquired and introduced to the market in 2017 and 2018 after proper verification of title and freedom from government acquisition....
